This payment is for the DVSA Test Fee.
The DVSA will only refund test fees if the Test has been cancelled 3 clear WORKING days prior to the test.
If BDS book the test on your behalf and you fail to reach the required standard the instructor is NOT obligated to take you for test.  If you fail to give BDS or the DVSA sufficient notice to postpone or cancel your test you will lose the DVSA test fee.
